Punset Langhe Bianco
A vivid reflection of both place and philosophy, Punset’s Langhe Bianco is a white wine that encapsulates the spirit of Piedmont’s Langhe hills and the vision of winemaker Marina Marcarino, a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture in the region. Sourced from estate vineyards in Neive, this cuvee is crafted from a carefully selected mix 70% Arneis and 30% Nascetta. The fruit is hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged entirely in stainless steel, allowing the natural aromatics and vibrant acidity of the grapes to shine without the influence of oak. Energetic and complex on the nose, opening with layers of white peach, elderflower, lime zest, and green melon, followed by savory undertones of wet stone, fennel, and chamomile. The palate is fresh and mineral-driven, with a lively acidity that creates tension and drive. Medium in body but long on finesse, it has a silky texture that comes from careful lees management and minimal intervention in the cellar. It’s meant to spark curiosity, offer easy enjoyment, and invite exploration. Thoughtfully crafted and versatile, this wine is excellent on its own and delicious with a wide range of foods; think crudo, goat cheese, summer vegetables, or risotto with herbs.
