The Bottle Shop by Bonnie + Bud offers intimate, informative wine tasting experiences in our Charlotte, North Carolina studio. We showcase fine wines from smaller producers and love introducing our guests to bottles they may have never seen or tried before, all while enjoying a relaxed evening with friends, family, colleagues, and corporate teams.

The Experience

Each tasting begins with a welcome pour to set the tone, followed by five thoughtfully selected wines served in 2 oz pours. Guests enjoy a seated, guided tasting accompanied by a tasting packet. Tastings are designed to feel warm and personal, the perfect way to discover small-production wines available only through specialty sellers.

Pricing

We offer three price points so you can choose the experience that fits the occasion:

$55 per guest, Everyday Favorites: approachable, versatile bottles that consistently overdeliver.
$75 per guest, Weekend Worthy: crowd-pleasing gems with lots of character and intrigue.
$95 per guest, Cellar Stars: standout bottles built to impress and reward savoring.

Each tasting includes a welcome pour and 5 wine selections, customized to your group's preferences and budget.

Group Size

We host groups of 6 to 12 in our Studio with the option to move outside into the Wine Garden when the weather invites it. Final seating is at our discretion to ensure the most comfortable experience for your group. Our studio is available for private corporate bookings and team events. Timing

Tastings are booked Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. To ensure every guest enjoys the full experience, we kindly ask that your party arrive on time. Tastings that run beyond the two-hour window are billed at $75 per half hour.

Food & Beverage

We offer beautifully curated charcuterie boards available for purchase. After reserving your event, you'll have the opportunity to add one to your booking. To preserve the integrity of the tasting, outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Booking & Payment

After you've submitted your date request, a member of the Bonnie + Bud team will follow up with an invoice for your anticipated number of guests to secure your date. Final guest count is due no later than 48 hours before your tasting, at which point the remaining balance for any additional guests (up to 12 total) will be charged.
