Les Rocailles Apremont Savoie
Les Rocailles Apremont Savoie is a alpine white wine made from 100% Jacquere, which thrives on the limestone-rich slopes of Mont Granier in the French Alps. Grown in the Savoie region, an area celebrated for its fresh and aromatic whites, this wine reflects the unique terroir with a striking clarity. It is un-oaked, allowing the purity of the grapes to shine through with finesse. On the nose, it offers an aromatic profile of green apple, citrus blossom, and wet stone, leading into a palate that is bone-dry, crisp, and refreshing. This wine is remarkably light, yet vibrant, embodying the cool mountain breezes and mineral-rich soil of its origin. Produced by the Les Rocailles estate, now under the stewardship of Guillaume Durand and Alban Thouroude, who took the reins from renowned winemaker Pierre Boniface in 2006, the vineyard adheres to sustainable practices and low-intervention winemaking. This commitment ensures a product that is both environmentally conscious and true to tradition. Apremont is a perfect companion to the alpine cuisine of the region such as fondue and raclette, as well as seafood, chicken, and lighter pastas, evoking the crisp, cool alpine air in every glass.
