Steininger SEKT Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
Steininger’s Sekt Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is a sparkling wine that takes Austria’s hallmark freshness and builds it into something deeply expressive and refined. Produced in the Kamptal from carefully selected Sauvignon Blanc, it is vinified using the traditional method and aged for an extended period on the lees, bringing impressive depth and a layered complexity rarely found in single varietal sparkling wines. The nose is vibrant and lifted, with aromas of gooseberry, lime zest, passionfruit, and fresh herbs, accented by subtle brioche and almond notes from maturation. On the palate, the wine is both electric and silky; bristling with crisp acidity, yet rounded by a creamy texture that carries flavors of citrus, green apple, and mineral undertones. The mousse is fine and persistent, giving a polished structure to the exuberant fruit and herbaceous character of Sauvignon Blanc. Long, precise, and elegant, this is a sparkling wine that balances vivacity with sophistication, making it equally compelling as an aperitif, a partner to seafood and goat cheeses, or a celebratory centerpiece.
